POLICE INVESTIGATES NEMA BUILDING FIRE
Investigators from the Royal Bahamas Police Force Fire Department are actively investigating a fire at the National Emergency Agency (NEMA) Headquarters located on Gladstone Road that occurred on Friday 22nd November 2013.
According to reports, around 12:20am, Officers from the Fire Department received a report of a fire at the National Emergency Agency (NEMA) Headquarters located on Gladstone Road. On arrival at the scene officers met a northwestern section of the building on fire. The fire was extinguished a short while later by firefighters. A workstation area of the building was extensively damaged.
Investigations are ongoing.
