(Exuma, Bahamas) Police are investigating the crash landing of an aircraft at Staniel Cay, Exuma Airport that occurred on Saturday 18th August 2012.
According to police reports, shortly before 3:00pm, a 9-seater Cessna Aircraft from Flamingo Air, while attempting to land at Staniel Cay Airport, lost control and crashed
landed into nearby bushes.
As a result of this incident a number of passengers were treated at the local clinic for minor injuries received and discharged. The aircraft received extensive damages.
Authorities from the Department of Civil Aviation are investigating.
