(Nassau, Bahamas) – **POLICE INVESTIGATE DOUBLE MURDERS**
Police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating the person(s) responsible for a shooting incident that has left a male and a female dead. The incident reportedly occurred shortly after 10:00 pm on Tuesday 05th June, 2012. Initial police reports indicate that the victims, believed to be family members were inside an apartment at Buttonwood Avenue, Pinewood Gardens when some unknown person(s) forced their way into the home. Both persons received multiple gunshot injuries to the body and were pronounced dead at the scene. **POLICE INVESTIGATES ALLEGED SUICIDE REPORT**
Police have launched an investigation into the death of a male after he was found hanging from a tree off Bernard Road. According to police reports around 9:30 pm on Tuesday 5th June, 2012 police received information that a male was found through an unpaved road off Adderley Street with a rope around his neck. At present police are uncertain of the circumstances which may have led to the occurrence of this incident. Active police investigations continue.
ARMED ROBBERY SUSPECTS ARRESTED BY POLICE
Police are questioning two (2) males, in connection with a recent armed robbery. The incident reportedly occurred around 2:00 pm on Tuesday 5th June, 2012 at a business establishment on Market Street and Bahama Avenue. Initial reports indicate that two (2) armed men entered the establishment and demanded cash. The culprits reportedly robbed the establishment of an undetermined amount of cash and fled the area on foot in an unknown direction. Acting on information officers of the South-Central Division went to Amos Ferguson Street where they arrested the suspects. Active police investigations continue.
