Governor’s Harbour & Rock Sound airports among closures announced

BAHAMAS AIRPORT CLOSURES DUE TO HURRICANE MATTHEW

Airport closures for The Department of Civil Aviation in conjunction with the Airport Authority of The Bahamas and following consultation with the Department of Meteorology, advises the public that the following airport closures will go into effect on Tuesdayand Wednesday the 4^th and 5^th of October, 2016, as a result of tropical or hurricane force winds emanating from Hurricane Matthew:
