(Eleuthera, Bahamas) By Ashley Akerberg: The Rotaract Club of Eleuthera is excited to kick of World Rotaract Week, an internationally recognized time for celebrating the success and importance of the Rotaract program.

In celebration of the event, the Rotaract Club hosted three Rotarians for their bi-weekly meeting on Tuesday March 12. Their gracious presence was noted by mentorship and encouragement. Rotary President Jacqueline Gibson, joined by Juanita Pinder and Susan Culmer, said of the club, “although small in numbers, they are motivated, and are well able to make a powerful impact well beyond our borders.” The group of inspired young professionals left feeling energized, with a newfound dedication to “service above self.”

Rotaract members will continue to make connections and forge partnerships in the coming week. They look forward to attending the official charter of the Deep Creek Middle School’s Early Act club next Thursday March 21. Additionally, club President Elect Mark Daniels, will be collaborating in international service with a Rotaract Club of Trinidad this upcoming weekend.
