The Bahamas Electricity Corporation in Eleuthera wishes to advise consumers in North and Central Eleuthera that their Electricity Supplies will be interrupted today from 2:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. to facilitate emergency repairs at the Hatchet Bay Power Plant.
The affected areas will include the following:
North Eleuthera: Hatchet Bay, Gregory Town, Eleuthera Island Shores, Gaulding Cay, Whale Point, Upper and Lower Bogue, The Current, Current Island, The Bluff, Blackwood, Genes Bay, Three Island Dock, and Harbour Island.
Central Eleuthera: Rainbow Bay, James Cistern, Governor’s Harbour, North and South Palmetto Point, Savannah Sound and Windermere Island.
The Corporation apologizes for any inconvenience caused.
