(Harbour Island, Bahamas) – On Saturday, July 23rd, 2016, volunteers from the community of Harbour Island organized a “Harbour Island Cleanup Campaign. The morning began at the Administrator’s place, where the group began with breakfast, before going around the island filling garbage bags with trash and debris. The volunteers were divided into different teams, and as they collected, filled garbage bags were transported to the dump until 12 noon. The group then received a well-deserved lunch at the site of the Fig Tree opposite the Ministry of Tourism.
