Expressions of Interest in Consultancy Services are being requested, for works as part of a Water Supply Improvement Project being undertaken by the Water and Sewerage Corporation. The Government of the Bahamas has received financing from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) towards the cost of the Water Supply Improvement Project and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this financing to eligible payments under contract procured under this project.
Consultancy assignments which will be procured under the project will include:
a. Engineering Services;
b. Social and Gender Monitoring & Evaluation;
c. Public Education & Awareness Programme;
d. Climate Risk and Vulnerability Assessment;
e. Change Management and Human Resources Support Programme; and
f. Photovoltaic Potential Assessment.
It is expected that these will be procured during the period February 2016 to December 2016,
The following works will be procured under the project:
- Crooked Island Water Supply Infrastructure;
- Eleuthera Water Supply Infrastructure;
- Cat Island Water Supply Infrastructure;
- San Salvador Water Supply Infrastructure;
- Long Island Water Supply Infrastructure; and
- South Andros Water Supply Infrastructure.
It is expected that these will be procured during the period February 2016 to June 2016.
Consultants and Contractors from member countries of the CDB will be eligible to participate in these procurement opportunities.
The Water and Sewerage Corporation is the Executing Agency for the project.
