(Eleuthera, Bahamas) – Authorities have confirmed that an 11-year old male of Harbour Island has been transported to New Providence in serious condition following a Saturday afternoon incident.
Reports are that sometime around 5pm on Saturday, August 15th, 2015, several local children were attending a pool party in Harbour Island. While playing in the swimming pool, an 11 year old male was said to have been found unresponsive. He was removed and CPR was administered. The young boy was then transported to the Harbour Island clinic where it is reported that medical personnel were able to revive him.
He was then transported to New Providence for further attention, and was said to be in serious condition at that time.
