A 15-year-old girl of Eleuthera, who went missing on Valentine’s Day has turned up in New Providence where police reportedly took her into protective custody. The juvenile was reported missing by a parent who said that she was left at home at about 8:00am while the parent went to work, but the teen could not be located when the parent returned home at about 1:00pm. Furthermore, the parent received a call informing them that the teen had been seen at the Potter’s Cay dock in New Providence around 6:30pm on the evening of February 14th, being picked up by an unidentified male. It was later discovered that the teen’s passport was also missing.
Police located the teen and are conducting investigations into the matter.
