(New Providence, Bahamas) – A 15 – year old juvenile male is in custody after he was arrested for a large quantity of marijuana on Friday
20th June 2014. According to reports, shortly before 12:00noon, Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) officers acting on intelligence conducted a search a of carryon bag of a suspect at LPIA General Aviation Section, who had just arrived on a charter flight at from Andros and discovered 20 pounds of marijuana with an estimated street value of $30,000:00. The suspect was subsequently arrested and taken into custody.
