Taliah has done it! After winning the March 10th Eleuthera Jr. Minister of Tourism speech Competition, the 11th Grade, Principal’s List student of Preston H. Albury High School in Rock Sound has gone on to win the BAHAMAS Junior Minister of Tourism title. 

Taliah Cooper is a calmly confident speaker with excellent projection, who seems to be always wearing a smile. Her victory came on Thursday March 27th, in New Providence.

With it comes several prizes, which include, a 4 year scholarship to the College of The Bahamas, a laptop computer, a cell phone, a cash prize of $500, a Trophy and an all expenses paid trip to the upcoming CTO (Caribbean Tourism Organization) Youth Congress. The school will also receive a $500 cash award and a Trophy signifying the tremendous accomplishment of its student.

Coming in second behind Eleuthera was New Providence, followed by Grand Bahama.
