The Manslaughter trial of Mark Fadden of Black Wood, North Eleuthera,  commenced in the Supreme Court on Monday 24/03/13 before Justice Roy Jones. Fadden was charged with the April 2nd 2010  death of Wilson Cameus of  Russell Island, Spanish Wells.

The prosecution alleged that Fadden caused Cameus’ death by pushing him into the sea while engaged in an altercation onboard a local Water Taxi at Gene’s Bay Dock (known on some survey plans as James’ Bay Dock and sometimes referred to as Jean’s Bay Dock)

The court heard the evidence of  seven prosecution witnesses  and on Wednesday 26/03/14 the two man seven woman Jury returned a unanimous guilty verdict.

Sentencing is adjourned to 21/05/14.
