According to police, a 28 – year old man of Eleuthera is in custody after he was arrested for possession dangerous drugs on Monday 30th December 2013.
They report, that around 1:45pm, acting on intelligence, police went to Light House Beach Road located in Bannerman Town, where they observed the suspect driving a gray dodge truck, acting suspiciously. Police brought the vehicle to a stop, conducted a search and uncovered ten pounds (10 lbs.) of marijuana with a street value of ten thousand dollars ($10,000.00)
The suspect was taken into custody and will face drug related charges later this week.
