(Eleuthera, Bahamas) – October 5th-6th are the dates when approximately 100 young sailors from all parts of the Bahamas come together for one of the most hotly contested competitions of the Bahamas Sailing Association’s (BSA’s) Sailing calendar.

The competition will be held this year in the beautiful setting of Governor’s Harbour, Eleuthera; the course being laid out within one of the country’s most spectacular natural harbors, with a backdrop of 19th century wooden captain’s cottages that give testament to the rich sailing heritage of the Bahamian people.

The host of this year’s event is the Eleuthera Sailing and Swimming School, a voluntary organization that has 20 boats for teaching, sailing and swimming to the local youngsters up to the age of 16.

All events for this regatta are under the jurisdiction of the BSA.
