Bahamas Minister of Tourism the Honourable Obie Wilchcombe recently visited Memphis, TN to attend the 51st Annual Session of the Progressive National Baptist Convention. During his visit, the Minister took time to tour the African American Civil Rights Museum, and is pictured pausing at a display of the Klu Klux Klan, a group that was organized with the specific purpose of obstructing the civil rights movement.

The multi-million membership organisation is confirmed to hold their MidWinter Board Meeting at the Wyndham Nassau Resort, January 2013 and are considering holding their 2015 Annual Session in The Bahamas at the Baha Mar Resort.
