Police are investigating a stabbing incident that has left a 22 year old male of Harbour Island Dead. The incident reportedly occurred around 2:15 am on Sunday 5th August, 2012 at the Regatta Park, Cat Island. Initial police reports indicate that the deceased got into an altercation with another male and was subsequently stabbed to the abdomen. He was taken to the Smith’s Bay Clinic where he later succumbed to his injuries.
It also reported that during the incident a 25 year old male of Bain’s Town, Cat Island was struck to the head with a bottle. He was taken to the local clinic and later airlifted to New Providence where at present his condition is unknown. Active police investigations continue.
**POICE MAKE FIREARM ARREST**
A 17 year old juvenile male of Lazaretto Road is in police custody after he was found possession of a handgun. Officers of the Central Detective Unit arrested the male shortly after 5:00 am on Sunday 5th August,
