Did You Know – ZNS is unavailable 3 min drive from the admin building in Governor's Harbour?

It’s an interesting fact, that here in Eleuthera, in residential areas less than 3 minutes drive from the center of Governor’s Harbour, the administrative center of Eleuthera, many Bahamians do not have the option of seeing the national broadcaster, ZNS television, because Cable service is not available.  The areas are fully serviced by electricity, telephone, water, paved roads and have both major businesses and homes, yet, no cable. 

Typically, live streaming online by ZNS is available thanks to DSL provided by BTC, however, the stream is currently not available due to license restrictions for ZNS’s olympic broadcast rights.  The result, even as the national broadcaster brings the games live to the country, scores of Bahamians here in Eleuthera have no live options.
