(Palmetto Point, Eleuthera) – On Monday July 9th 2012, children arrived with anticipation at the Knowles Tennis Courts in Palmetto Point to enroll in the 13th annual Artie Johnson All Eleuthera Tennis Summer Camp. The groups ranged in age from 5-9 and 10-13 respectively. The Camp was held daily from 9:00am – 12:30pm and lunch was prepared and delivered by a variety of sponsors.
The tennis group of about 36 enrolled children enjoyed specialty skill techniques, games and interactive training by both Mr. Johnson and Mr. Larry Rolle from New Providence who joined in as a helping hand during the second week. Mrs. Cindy Thompson was on hand as a regular supervisor as well, and organizers extend their appreciation to her for her invaluable contribution.
