(Eleuthera, Bahamas) – Paul Petty, a fishing tour guide from Governor’s Harbour, in the center of Eleuthera has an excellent reputation for his tours built over many years. This July, he once again took regular annual American visitors to Eleuthera, Al Hefferan and a friend Bob Cypher out on the water for another memorable encounter with the sea.

Last August, Al, on a trip with Paul, proudly displayed, in a photo, a 9lb bonefish he had landed.

This year while fishing near Rock Sound Paul helped the two land a big Barracuda, proudly displayed below. The fish was caught chasing a green tube lure and, according to Al, it put up quite a fight.

In total the group pulled in over 20 bonefish on the trip and the Barracuda was donated to a local by Mr. Petty.

Bob and Al do an annual 2 week vacation to Eleuthera, and along with Bob’s wife Carol, they stay near French leave beach, one of the most beautiful in the Caribbean.
