General Dame Marguerite Pindling leads mourners June 15 in viewing the body of William “Bill” Cartwright as it lay in state in the foyer of the House
of Assembly. Mr. Cartwright, a founder of the Progressive Liberal Party, died June 7 at age 90. He will be buried in Sacred Heart Cemetery following a State Recognised funeral June 18 at St. Gregory’s Anglican Church, Carmichael Road. Also paying respects were Prime Minister the Rt. Hon.
