According to authorities, sometime around 10:00pm on Thursday, March 1st, 2018, an adult female contacted the Governor’s Harbour Police Station by telephone and reported that her ex-boyfriend had just poured a liquid substance over himself and set himself on fire after she refused to ride along with him.
Officers and medical personnel responded to the scene where they met a 35 year old man lying on the ground with burns about the head, face and arms. He was transported to the Governor’s Harbour Clinic and was later airlifted to New Providence for further medical attention. Investigations are ongoing, say Police.
