(Central Eleuthera, The Bahamas) As windy, rainy weather sat over the island of Eleuthera today, October 4th, 2017, residents in the Central Eleuthera area, from Rainbow Bay to Savannah Sound, experienced multiple power outages, which continued into the evening hours. The latest outage which occurred after 9pm, BPL communicated that initial attempts to restore power had been unsuccessful. Two emergency crews were said to have been out investigating the cause of the outage. Electricity once again came on moments before 10pm.
