Officers from the Flying Squad, Firearms Tracing and Investigations Unit, Drug Enforcement Unit and NCIB conducted a massive police operation in New Providence on Wednesday 30th April 2014, in pursuit of a number of suspects wanted in connection with a number of serious crimes.
Heading the list of suspects arrested was Armed Robbery and Burglary suspect Tamicko Williams, 22, of Podoleo Street who escaped lawful custody from the Grove Police Station on Friday 25th April 2014. Additionally, a 22 – year old male of faith Avenue was arrested for Harbouring a Fugitive.
The other suspects are:
1. A 17 – year old male of Ragged Island Street in connection with a Murder on Moore Avenue
2. A 19 – year old male of Palmetto Avenue in connection with a Murder on Moore Avenue
3. Nine males ages, 16 – 43 of Ida Street in connection with a Shooting incident in Montell Heights
4. A 29 – year old male of Pinewood Gardens for Breach of the Liquor License Act
5. A 21 – year old female of Andros Avenue for Breach of the Liquor License Act
6. A 21 year old male of Minnie Street for Causing Harm
7. A 32 – year old male of fire Trail Road for an Outstanding Court Warrant
8. A 32 – year male of Eastern Estates for an Outstanding Court Warrant
9. A 24 – year old male of Montell heights for Causing Grievous Harm
10. A 28 – year old male of Marathon Estates for Causing Grievous Harm
11. A 19 – year old male of Cox Burn Street for Causing Grievous Harm
12. A 21 – year old male of Yellow Elder Gardens for Firearms
13. A 24 – year old male of Blair Estates for Breach of the Immigration Act
14. A 24 – year old male of Soldier Road for Firearms
15. A 26 – year old male of Nassau Village for Firearms
