According to police reports, shortly after 7:00am on Friday morning, January 18th, 2019, Eleuthera Division Officers, armed with a search warrant, went to the Grant Street home of a Harbour Island man, and conducted a search, from which they recovered three packages of suspected marijuana – weighing 1.5 lbs, a .40 pistol, three (3) rounds of ammunition and $5,295.00 cash, suspected of being the proceeds of crime. The items found were secured and transported to the Harbour Island police station.
One adult male resident was taken into custody and is expected to be formally charged before a Magistrate Court during the coming week.
