**POLICE REQUEST PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE IN SOLVING AN OVERNIGHT ARMED ROBBERY**

Preliminary reports indicate that around 10:00pm on Monday 12th August 2013, the victim was at Johnson Terrace, when he was approached by two men armed with a
handgun who robbed him of a small amount of cash. The suspects then fled the scene in the victim’s 2008 Gold Honda Civic vehicle.

The suspects are being described as two dark males one of whom was clad in all black clothing and the other wore a white t-shirt and blue jeans pants.
Police investigations are ongoing

 

**POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE IN SOLVING OVERNIGHT SHOOTING INCIDENT**

Police are requesting the public’s help in solving a shooting incident that has left a 27-year old man detained in hospital suffering from gunshot wounds on Monday 12th
August, 2013. According to reports, shortly before 11:00pm the victim went to a residence located at Dorsett Alley, Bamboo Town, where the occupants of a vehicle opened fire at him, hitting him in the stomach and upper arm. The victim was taken to hospital via EMS where he is listed in serious condition.
Investigations are ongoing.

**POLICE ARE SEEKING THE PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE IN SOLVING A BURGLARY AND ATTEMPTED SEXUAL ASSAULT**

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating the suspect responsible for a burglary and attempted sexual assault that occurred on Tuesday 13th August, 2013. According to reports, shortly after 3:00am a man armed with a knife broke into a residence located at Podoleo Street and attempted to sexually molest a young woman.

The suspect was disturbed and he fled on foot. The suspect is being described as a light skin male, clad in a white jersey, blue/white basketball pants, about 5ft 11″ to 6ft in height, wearing a mask Investigations are ongoing

OTHER MATTERS

**MOBILE DIVISION OFFICERS ARREST SHOP BREAKING SUSPECT**
A 53-year old man is in custody after he was arrested by police for attempting to break into a business establishment on Tuesday 13th August 2013. According to reports, around 1:20am officers from the Mobile Division responded to an alarm activation at a business establishment located at Madeira Street, where they encountered the suspect attempting to break into the establishment. The suspect was subsequently arrested and taken into custody.

Investigation are ongoing.

MOBILE DIVISION OFFICERS UNCOVERS FIREARM
According to reports, around 10:30pm on Monday 12th August 2013, acting on information received officers from the Mobile Division went to an abandoned building located on Charles Vincent Street where they uncovered a sawed off shotgun. No one was arrested in this matter.
