On Saturday 20th July, 2013 a shooting incident occurred at Wulff Road which resulted in the death of two males. According to reports shortly after 4:00 am, 59 year old ERNEST CARTWRIGHT of DANNOTAGE ESTATES and his 41 year old employee SEAN DAXON of VILLAGE ROAD were entering a blue Kia Optima vehicle on Wulff Road when they were approached by two (2) armed men.
It is reported that the victims attempted to flee in the vehicle; however, one of the men fired a gunshot which resulted in the driver being shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The second victim reportedly got out of the vehicle, attempted to run and was subsequently shot by the second suspect. He was taken to hospital via EMS personnel where he was pronounced dead.
The man stabbed to death at Jackfish Drive off Carmichael Road has also been identified by police as ELKIN MOSS of JACKFISH DRIVE.According to reports, around 5:12 am on Sunday 21st July, 2013 the deceased was at his residence when he reportedly got into an altercation with another male, which resulted in both people being stabbed multiple times.
The 36 year old was pronounced dead at the scene; however, the 52 year old Allen Drive resident was arrested and taken to hospital, after he reportedly collided into, two (2) vehicles in the area of West Avenue and Carmichael Road.
The suspect was taken to hospital where he remains in serious but stable condition.
The man shot and killed on Monday 22nd July, 2013 has been identified as 39 year old TARACK STUART of BALLS ALLEY.
According to reports around 2:55 am the victim was at a club on Bay & Armstrong Streets, when he reportedly got into an altercation with a group of people and was subsequently shot multiple times.
The 39 year old deceased was taken to hospital via private vehicle where he was pronounced dead.
Police are investigating all matters and are appealing to residents who may have any information that can assist with their investigations, to contact them anonymously.
