(Exuma, Bahamas) The Royal Bahamas Police Force (RBPF) has said that an active investigation has been launched into the discovery of forty-two (42) bales of marijuana in Exuma on Monday 22nd April 2013.
According to reports, around 1:30pm Police in Exuma along with the Drug Enforcement Unit and OPBAT officers (Operation Bahamas, Turks and Caicos (OPBAT) is a combined Coast Guard, DEA and Government of Bahamas partnership ) discovered the large stash of marijuana at Bahama Sound. The weight of the drugs is one thousand (1000) pounds.

POLICE INVESTIGATING DEATH OF A MAN FOUND FLOATING IN WATERS AT MONTAQUE BEACH.
(Nassau, Bahamas) – POLICE are investigating the death of a male found floating in waters off Montague Beach on Monday 22nd April 2013. According to police reports, around 12:30pm a man swimming at Montague Beach discovered the lifeless body of a dark male floating in full dive gear about 15 feet off the beach. The victim was pronounced dead by EMS personnel after he was pulled to shore. Police say there were no signs of trauma to the victim’s body and foul play is not suspected in this matter.
Investigations are ongoing.
