A 23 year old male of Baillou Hill Road is in hospital after being shot to the arm by police. The incident reportedly occurred shortly before 1:00 pm on Tuesday 18th September, 2012.
According to reports, the suspect was attempting to escape lawful custody from officers at the South-Central Police Station when the incident occurred.
He was taken to hospital where he is detained in stable condition.
Active police investigations continue.
