(Eleuthera, Bahamas) During their commencement ceremony held on Friday, June 10th, at the Wesley Methodist Church in James’ Cistern, the Central Eleuthera Class of 2016 like all the other schools, had their chance to serenade the audience with a song, where they tried their best to hit the right notes and end on the same chord. Standing front and center was class Valedictorian Safyha Bryan. She was the Top 2016 Graduate on Eleuthera, with a Cumulative GPA of 3.97. She also has 8 BGCSE subjects, achieved in Grade 11, with another 6 pending this summer.  The three honour roll students in the graduating class were Safyha, Joevante Fox (Salutatorian) and Cortez Cooper – the two young men with yellow sashes are seen standing in the second row, with Cortez being the more visible.  The entire class was generally relaxed and smiling throughout this rendition below. During the song, solos were performed by Nijah Bastian, Maseline Cher-Ami and Taquia Thomas.
