(Eleuthera, Bahamas) Senior High School students from across Eleuthera on Thursday, February 13th, 2014 were treated to a day long set of presentations on being ready for the next level of their educational careers and the scholarship opportunities available to them to pursue their tertiary education goals.  

Sessions began at 10 am at the Ministry of Education’s Resource Center in Savannah Sound and were facilitated by representatives of the Ministry of Education’s Scholarship and Educational Loan Division and the Lyford Cay Foundation.


Two hundred students attended the Thursday, February 13th sessions, and another large group were expected to attend the second day of presentations on Friday – exposing the majority of tenth through twelfth grade students in the Eleuthera district to crucial planning information for their future.

200 plus 10th – 12th grade students from Harbour Island All Age, Spanish Wells All Age and Central Eleuthera High School attended the Thursday sessions.
