Spanish Wells competed strongly in the 2013 National Junior Junkanoo competition in New Providence in an attempt to defend their 2012 title. They came up short but not by much, finishing second behind CR Walker and it was not for a lack of effort, splendid color, creativity or beauty in their costumes.  It all took place at the new Thomas A. Robinson stadium in the capital on Saturday, December 14th. While they came second overall they did win  BEST OVERALL COSTUME and  also the KING and QUEEN titles.
