Condolences on the sudden passing, of W/Cpl Lisanne Johnson, of Hatchet Bay

Supt. Christopher Wright, OIC Eleuthera District has issued the following statement:

“It is with sadness that I announce the sudden passing of our beloved sister W/Cpl 2049 Lisanne Johnson who was attached to the Hatchet Bay police station.

“Cpl Johnson was found unresponsive at her home in Hatchet Bay shortly after 8am this morning.  She was transported to the Hatchet Bay clinic where efforts were made to revive her, which were fruitless.  She was pronounced dead at 10am today.

“W/Cpl Johnson had a medical history of epilepsy and seizures and was in and out of hospital in recent times. She was presently on extensive sick leave.  May her soul rest in peace.”
