Police wish to remind business owners that:
• It is an offense to operate without a valid license;
• it is an offense not to have their business license displayed conspicuously on the premises where
they operate their business; and that
• It is an offense to operate a business without being properly registered with the Department of
National Insurance;
• It is an offense to operate businesses beyond the times stipulated in their licenses where one exists.
Business owners who fail to comply with these rules will be prosecuted run the risk of losing their
license.
