**EASTERN DIVISION CRACKS MAJOR HOUSE-BREAKING RING**
Flat screen T.V.’s, Laptops, CD players, Cell phones, watches and an oven, are some of the items confiscated by officers of the Eastern Division after cracking a major House-breaking ring over the weekend. The operation was conducted in the Eastern Division and throughout New Providence and resulted in the arrest of six (6) people. Active police investigations continue.
**BALLS ALLEY MAN DIES AFTER BEING SHOT MULTIPLE TIMES**
A 40 year old man of Balls Alley is dead after being shot multiple times on Monday 22nd July, 2013. The incident reportedly occurred around 2:55 am at a club located Bay & Armstrong Streets. Preliminary reports indicate that victim got into an altercation with a group of people and was subsequently shot multiple times. He was taken to hospital via private vehicle where he was pronounced dead. Active police investigations continue.
**POLICE INVESTIGATES SHOOTING @ GAMBIER VILLAGE**
A 22 year old man of Wulff Road is in hospital after being shot to the abdomen on Sunday 21st July, 2013. Preliminary reports indicate that around 11:30 pm the victim was a Bar & Grill, located Gambier Village when he was approached by an unknown male and subsequently shot to the abdomen. He was taken to hospital via private vehicle where he is detained in critical condition. Police are actively investigating and appealing to members who may have any information regarding this incident to contact police.
**POLICE INVESTIGATES SHOOTING @ WEST STREET **
Police are searching for a male responsible for shooting a 17 year old juvenile male. The incident reportedly occurred around 11:00pm on Saturday 20th July, 2013.
Preliminary reports indicate that the victim was in the area of West Street when he was approached and subsequently shot to the leg by a man known to him. The victim was taken to hospital via private vehicle where he is detained in stable condition. Police are investigating and appealing to members of the public who may have any information regarding this incident to contact police.
