(Eleuthera, Bahamas) – Men’s softball in Eleuthera climaxed during the final week of October with a best 4 out of 7 matches between the two top teams during the season – the James’ Cistern Blue Water Jets and the Governor’s Harbour 2nd Generation.

The Championship round of games began on Tuesday night, October 25th at 7:30pm at the Twin City Arena in Palmetto Point.

In game one the James’ Cistern Blue Water Jets won 140 over the Governor’s Harbour 2nd Generation.  Edney ‘The Heat’ Bethel was the winning pitcher with Sean Taylor losing.

Game two on Thursday, October 27th, saw the Jets go 214 over the 2nd Generation.

After several rain outs, games three and four took place on Monday night, October 31st, with the Jets cleaning house, winning both match ups; 130 and 142, resulting in the overall convincing Championship sweep of 4 games to 0,

As Eleuthera softball Champions, the James’ Cistern Blue Water Jets will now go on to represent the island at the National Round Robin event, set to be hosted in New Providence on November 4th – 6th, 2016.
