(Eleuthera, Bahamas) – Junkanoo in Eleuthera this year has been a split affair with – Part 1 on Christmas Day in Tarpum Bay featuring groups from Hatchet Bay, North Eleuthera and Tarpum Bay. Part 2 in all its splendour of colour, dance and music was held in Governor’s Harbour on Saturday night, January 9th, 2016.
The show of culture featured Junkanoo groups from Rock Sound, Governor’s Harbour and an energetic mixed scrap group, with scores of locals and visitors lining the Queen’s Highway enjoying the spectacle.
