(Eleuthera, Bahamas) – Davis Harbour Marina at Cotton Bay Club has announced, their inaugural Wahoo Rally happening in South Eleuthera this February.
The inaugural event described as, “much more than a fishing tournament”, is slated to be a culmination of events centered around fishing during the weekend of February 18th through the 20th.
A Captain’s meeting with a Junkanoo Rush-Out will kick-off the Rally on Thursday, February 18th. Fishing on Friday and Saturday (the 19th and 20th) will start at 7am with “lines-in”. The scales back at Davis Harbour Marina will be open until 4pm daily to qualify.
Awards will be presented for the largest wahoo based upon the weight on the dock. The largest aggregate weight along with other awards are to be presented at the closing party on Saturday night.
Anglers will participate in other nightly events such as a rum tasting, daily dock-tails, live music from local musicians and a few other surprises. Family and friends (non-angler) packages available.
