A resident of North Eleuthera, has forwarded these photos of a Bahamas Telecommunications Company (LIME) wire he described as hanging dangerously low in the community of Lower Bogue. The line has been in its dangling condition for a year or more, the resident says, and no one, including Local Government and BTC has done anything to rectify the situation. “I have sent pictures to the CEO of BTC Mr. Leon Williams who never even acknowledged receiving the message” he said. He has also circulated his complaint on social media.
“This is dangerous for any traffic traveling on this road and being that it is right after you go over the hill and [an] unknowing motorist can get in an accident.
“It is time that this gets fixed and I mean NOW not in 4 months.
“As a concerned resident I ask that the relevant authorities (need to) deal with the situation before an accident happens” he added.
