Nassau, Bahamas (RBPD Release) – TWO SUSPECTS BEING SOUGHT BY POLICE FOLLOWING AN ARMED ROBBERY AND SEXUAL ASSAULT
According to reports, shortly before 1:00am on Saturday 18th July 2015, a woman was sitting in a silver Honda Accord owned by her boyfriend outside of a club on Minnie Street, when two men armed with a handgun jumped into the vehicle an sped off with her. The two men took the woman to an undisclosed area where they sexually assaulted her. The men then abandoned the vehicle with the woman in the area of Soldier Road and East Street. The woman was taken to hospital where she was treated by doctors and later discharged.
Police are actively investigating all of these incidents and are appealing to anyone who may have any information regarding these incidents, no matter how small or insignificant (the tip) may seem, to anonymously call Police at 919 or CRIME STOPPERS at 328-TIPS (8477) OR 1-242-300-8476 (FAMILY ISLANDS)
