Police investigate two separate shootings resulting in hospitalisation of 17 and 23 year-old males

(Nassau, Bahamas) – A 17 year old boy of Yamacraw Hill Road is detained in hospital after being shot to the chest. The incident reportedly occurred around 7:20 pm on Thursday 7th June, 2012. Initial police reports indicate that the victim was at Yamacraw Hill Road when he got into an altercation with another man. Preliminary reports indicate that the victim, an employee of a business establishment on Bernard Road, was exiting his vehicle near Monastery Park when he accidentally shot himself to the foot.
