(Eleuthera, Bahamas) – The Hatchet Bay road, immediately in front of Miracle Wash house on Queen’s Highway, was the scene of a two car accident on Tuesday afternoon May 31st, 2016, that had the road blocked for a brief time. According to reports, police were informed of the accident at about 4:45pm and when they responded they discovered the accident scene with a white car overturned on the western side of the road with extensive damage and a silver car facing west by the parking lot of the wash house with extensive damage to the front left side.
Information indicated that a white 2006, Toyota Rush, registered to and driven by an adult female was headed south on the highway and was hit by a silver Nissan Sentra also driven by an adult female, which was about to exit the parking lot. Both parties received minor injuries and were treated at the Hatchet Bay Clinic and discharged. Investigations are ongoing.
