The 2014 finals of The Eleuthera Softball Association league got started in Palmetto Point on Friday evening, October 17th. Game 1 of the ladies division was a catastrophic shut out of 21 to 0 for the Stitchers over the Ashley and Andy Angels. The winning pitcher was Dorry Perry and taking the brunt of the bat was losing pitcher, Cindy Bethel.

In the men’s division, Big Tuna fell into the nets of AGC Jets who won the game, 8 to 4. Edney Bethel was on the mound for the Jets and the losing pitcher was Rodwell Knowles.

Game 2 will be on Saturday night with the ladies game at 6:30pm and the men taking to the field at 9pm. The games will be live on 1540am and, of course, The Eleutheran will be there.
