The Bahamas Electricity Corporation in Eleuthera wishes to advise consumers north of the Hatchet Bay Power Plant that their Electricity Supply will be interrupted for three (3) hours from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Wednesday, August 27, 2014. The affected areas will include Hatchet Bay, Gregory Town, Upper Bogue, Lower Bogue, The Bluff, Gene’s Bay, Three Island Dock, Current, and Current Island. The purpose of the outage is to facilitate overhead line maintenance, and tree trimming in the mentioned areas.
