(Eleuthera, Bahamas) – Police have announced the apprehension of 27 – year old Zaccario Pedro Rolle who had escaped lawful custody at the Governor’s Harbour Police Station on Thursday 17th July 2014.
According to police, at about 3:45pm on 17.07.14 while at Governors Harbour Police Station the suspect was being prepared to be transported to the airport when he pushed the officer to the side and made good his escape.
At the time of his escape Rolle was being held for a Stolen Vehicle and Causing Damage.
Sometime around 11:10am on Friday 18th July, 2014, Eleuthera Police acting on information, proceeded to the James Cistern area where they arrested the suspect. He has since been transported to H.M.P New Providence.
Police have extended their sincere gratitude to the members of the public who assisted in the efforts to capture the suspect.
