SPANISH WELLS, Eleuthera, Bahamas – The Eleuthera Junior Baseball League of Rock Sound continued play with week # 10 games in Spanish Wells.. In game #1- Minor Division – the Spanish Wells Divers nipped the league leading Rock Sound Marlins 12 to 11 in seven innings to run their record to 5 and 1, while the Rock Sound Marlins suffered their first loss of the season to run their record to 6 and 1. The winning pitcher was Payden Newbold who came in relief of Luke Boykin. The losing pitcher was Dillon Ingraham who came in relief o Jonathon Hall.
In game # 2- Junior Division – the Rock Sound Stingrays ran their record to 5 and 1 by blasting the Spanish Wells Sting Rays 9 to 1.
The Rock Sound Stingrays leads the Junior division.. The winning pitcher was Christopher Lloyd, and the losing pitcher was Kade Roberts.
All games are cancelled for this Easter Saturday (week # 11). However, there will be a few scrimmage games in Rock Sound for the Rock Sound Home Coming celebrations. Play continues next week (week #12).
