For the remainder of the School Year (March to June, 2013), the South Eleuthera Mission’s After School Program will focus heavily on teaching the students who attend the program their 2 to 12 time tables, as it is noted that many children in the local community are not up to par with regard to knowing their time tables.
Also, Mrs Sharon Carey, teacher and facilitator of the After School Program, will be teaching the children Composition writing skills each week, as it has also been observed that many of the children in the community do not possess effective storey writing skills.
We are appealing to parents in the community of South Eleuthera to send your child/ children to the Mission if they need assistance in these or any other academic areas.
The South Eleuthera Mission has also extended its hours for the After School Program from now until June, 2013, and will be open until 6pm from Mondays to Thursdays during school weeks, instead of closing at 5:30pm.
We appreciate your cooperation as we work together to improve the educational skills of the youth of South Eleuthera.
