On Saturday afternoon, December 22nd, 2012,  Santa took time out of his busy schedule to read a story to the children visiting the Tarpum Bay Library for the 5th Annual Christmas Fair.  This year Santa read “T’was the Night Before Christmas” and an original story that he wrote himself called, “The Little Potcake”.  The story was about a vacation that Santa and Mrs. Claus took to the Bahamas where they found and adopted a potcake puppy.

There was plenty of entertainment including food, drink, games, face painting, a cake raffle, and a bouncing castle for all to enjoy. The library offerred free food and game tickets to the children in exchange for them crushing aluminum cans as part of the Library’s recycle program.  At the end of the afternoon, each child received a gift bag and a book.
