A Green Castle woman and a friend, were reportedly accosted by an armed robber shortly after midnight on Sunday September 23rd, 2012 outside a rented apartment in Palmetto Point.
According to reports, the Manager of a business establishment in the Central District reported to police that his girlfriend and a friend pulled up to his rented residence when they were met by a dark coloured male of slim build and about 5’8” tall clad in tannish cargo pants with a reddish shirt and a ski mask holding a black 9mm gun on them ordering them to get to the ground and give him the money.
They complied and the robber retrieved a metal tannish tin from the vehicle containing about $400 the property of a business and $170.00 from one of the victims’ wallet. The robber then fled on foot, but not before discharging a shot.
Police visited the scene and are investigating.
