The Tarpum Bay library under the leadership of Jonna Riley, is making great strides.

Cable Bahamas Cares Foundation provided the library with a grant to replace ALL of their old computers, which fueled a complete remodel of the library in the process of installing the new computers.

“It was a lot of work”, commented Jonna.

The library held their 5th anniversary celebration on Saturday, September 8th, 2012 in concert with International Literacy Day. Students who signed up for free membership on the day received free school supplies during the well attended event which ran from 11am to 2pm.
